Selecting your new puppy is a very personal choice and there is not a wrong answer to what you want! There is NO difference in SIZE, TEMPERAMENT, or TRAINABILITY with male vs female. In the realm of neutered and spayed companion dogs they are just cavaliers. As a buyer you will look to pay more for a female as there is a higher demand for the girls. The females generally have babies from 2 to 5 years and the males can sire their entire lives. Coupled with the fact some people don't believe a boy puppy will make good pet or they don't want to alter the pet - girls are always higher in demand. Since it is your companion for the next 10 to 15 years, get what you want and if you don't care save the money for TOYS!!!
