Hi Dale and Jane,
Hope you all are all settled in your new home. I can't believe that
Murphy is almost a year old. Last month we participated in a & Mutt March
for the Humane Society. We had a pack of 18 Cavs. What a sight. Of course we
thought Murphy was the best looking. It was fun to see how different they
all were. In total $50,000.00 dollars was raised.
Wow....The shelters around here have really filled up since the hurricanes,
so they need all the help the can get. Anyway, Murphy had a great time and
loves all the other dogs.
We really had a good time. Here is a picture of our cowboy.....
Take care,

Dear Dale and Jane,
Just thought maybe you would like to see how little Raffy is growing up. He
is a darling puppy with a beautiful disposition. Of course he sort of rules
the roost! He is really doing good, has had all his shots now, and has an id. chip now and last week he was neutered. Now he's ready for school. He
really does not come when called or do too well on the leash. But he'll
learn because he is very smart. He knows what sit means and he knows what
get busy; means and is very cooperative most the time. We are having fewer
in house accidents, and we are getting a system that works.
Anyway, thanks for raising such darling, sweet dogs. Everybody loves Raffy,
Unfortunately, Raffy, loves everybody!
Enjoy the pics.

Dear Dale and Jane,
I finally remembered to send the pictures made at five and a half months. As you can readily see, he is a doll and so well behaved. He goes to the door and rings the bells I put there when he needs to go outside, and that is so handy. I don't have to see him but always hear and know when he needs out. He is so sweet, loves everybody and is afraid of nothing. He doesn't know he is small (13.5 pounds at last weigh in) and takes up with boxers and great danes as readily as with small dogs. He runs and plays hard for about 90 minutes every evening when my husband comes home and goes to bed at 8:30 and sleeps till 9:00 the next morning. We love him, and my husband has not had so much fun in years. He bought the dog for me but he is totally in love with Murphy. Thanks so much and do not ever hesitate to use me for a reference if someone wants to talk to a Castlemar puppy owner. He is still stopping traffic on our corner when I take him out as people just have to pet him and talk to me about him for a minute. He is delightful, and my daughter is hoping to get a tricolor one of these days.
Hope you are enjoying your new home and feel settled now.

Hi Dale -
We took some pictures of BeaCea in the wildflowers - one turned out
remarkably similar to a picture we took on his first day home. It is
amazing how much he's changed and how beautiful he has become (as I'm sure
you well know). We thought you might enjoy seeing them!
He is such an amazing dog - I think our first experience has spoiled us
because it's been so good. He's proven to be so easy to train and he
listens well (in the recent picture, he's sitting and staying). He's also
great with everyone and everything - from cats to adults to small children.
He's a bit lazy, so he's probably a bit rounder then he should be, but his
calmness fits our life very well. And, a great perk that we're hoping he
never learns - he rarely barks!
We get stopped all the time by people asking us where we got him - so if you
get any calls from Austinites, that may have been why!
Thanks so much!!!
Jackie
Hi Dale,
We thought you might like to see how much Deuce has grown. He is doing
great
and getting lots of attention. We just hope we can get him to leave our
tree
and gifts alone!
Happy Holidays!
